How is the oil prepared?

It’s very easy to make, you can even plant  the peppers yourself  if you feel like it.

  • 4 cayenne peppers, cut
  • Olive oil (necessary amount)
  • 1 glass container

Before you start making it, you should know that the peppers have to be  dry to make an analgesic oil.

  • Simply cut off the stalks of the cayenne pepper and then cut the pod lengthways.
  • Place on a grid and then leave to dry in a dark, well-ventilated place. This takes between 1 and 3 weeks.

Once the cayenne peppers are dry, you can prepare the remaining ingredients to make the remedy.

  • Fill 3/4 of the glass with the dried chilli and then cover well with olive oil.
  • If you want to further improve the effect,  you can add a piece of ginger root. This also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and improves blood circulation. Arnica is also highly recommended.
  • Once the mixture is ready, it is warmed in a water bath at low temperature for 2 hours. You can also store the glass jar with the oil mixture in a cool, dark place for 15 days. That depends on whether you need the home remedy quickly or whether it is less of a hurry.
  • Then you can filter the oil and pour it into a jar with a lid.

Way of application

Take some oil and  apply it to the affected area with a gentle massage. You can also use it several times a day to relieve the pain.

Store the cayenne pepper oil in a cool, dry place. It can be kept for up to 6 months.
